Barstool Chicago Is Coming To US Cellular Field June 20th

Big news:  the good people in the White Sox marketing department reached out to me a while back asking to do a little cross promotional ticket deal. Long story short, on June 20th, Barstool Chicago will be raiding both the lovely south side of Chicago and US Cellular Field to watch what is hopefully a first place team take on the Texas Rangers.

At this point in the blog you’re thinking one of two things:

1. “WSD, I’m a huge Sox fan, I already have my ticket purchased, and cannot wait to throw back some ice cold Miller Lites with you, Big Cat, and the Bertucci Brothers in the Bullpen Patio bar!”

or

2. “WSD, I hate the Sox, I hate you, the South Side is a dump, no way I’m wasting my money on this.”

If you’re thinking number two, here is why you should put your team bias, hatred of me, and you’re cheapness aside.

*Bleacher/ Patio ticket for 55 dollars.  Total.  Yes, total.  Included in this is all you can eat/drink in the bullpen patio bar, starting 2 hours before the game and into the bottom of the first inning.  This alone makes the entire package worth it alone.  The food and beer in the patio bar is flat out phenomenal.

* I will also try to organize a massive tailgate.  Come one, come all.  Details on this are TBD

* I will be taking challengers at the speed pitch.  Be forwarned, last year I hit 83 on it and feel as though the gun was slow.  I also recently joined a mens league team and am in the middle of some intense goddamn training.  Not that it’s even gonna come close to happening, but anyone who beats me may be subject to a prize.  But probably not because I’m poor.

* Big Cat will be taking pictures, but since the Cell is my jurisdiction, I will make sure he keeps his shirt on in the bleachers as not to scare anyone away.

Cubs fan or Sox fan, it doesn’t matter. This is an event for ALL Chicago Stoolies. June 20th, right smack in the middle of the Summer.
